Hosting the D23 Expo Press
My Disney Events is a silly title, since none of the events are ever about me…but I’ve enjoyed a wonderful 25-year association with The Walt Disney Company, first as a full-time employee (OK…”Cast Member”) and currently as a consultant for special events, conferences and conventions, and I like to think that 1) I add value to the events, conferences and seminars I host and/or moderate, and 2) I help bring out the best in my featured guests on behalf of the audience and fans.
Recently, I hosted 4 days of press conferences at the inaugural D23 Expo, a next generation fan and collector’s convention at the Anaheim convention Center. I believe this group offers something for all of the existing “Disnoids” out there and brings the Disney magic to a whole new generation of fans.
That’s something I know a little bit about.
For more than two decades, I’ve hosted a myriad of wonderful events with several Disney Legends, some of whom are no longer with us, and have blogged about a select few of them here. With very few exceptions, no official video exists of these unique experiences, which makes the few photos I have such a treasure trove of memories.
